The Philodendron Brasil is a vibrant and eye-catching variety of the Heart Leaf Philodendron, beloved for its glossy, heart-shaped leaves splashed with bold streaks of lime green and yellow variegation on a deep green background — reminiscent of the Brazilian flag. This healthy plant is perfect for trailing, hanging baskets, or climbing a moss pole, and it's wonderfully easy to grow.

Care Instructions

• Light: Bright to medium indirect light. Good light helps maintain the vibrant variegation. Avoid direct sunlight which can scorch the leaves.
• Water: Water when the top 2 inches of soil are dry. Avoid overwatering — allow soil to dry slightly between waterings.
• Humidity: Tolerates average humidity but thrives with a little extra moisture. Mist occasionally or place near a humidifier.
• Temperature: Keep between 18–30°C. Protect from cold drafts and temperatures below 13°C.
• Soil: Well-draining potting mix with perlite or coarse sand.
• Fertiliser: Feed once a month during spring and summer with a balanced liquid fertiliser.
• Support: Looks beautiful trailing or can be trained to climb a moss pole for larger leaves.
• Toxicity: Toxic to pets and humans if ingested — keep out of reach of children and animals.
